What a week! The Glass Art Society's 41st Annual Conference Creative Crossroads took over the city of Seattle from June 1st-5th. Starting with a kick off party at the famous Dale Chihuly (link: www.chihuly.com) Boathouse, the conference set a tone of excellence from the beginning -- decadent crab legs, huge glass blown in the hot shop, artists, collectors and everything in between.

The days following involved lectures from artists spanning from Panama to Germany, demonstrations by glass masters, such as J.P. Canlis (link: www.canlisglass.com) and Dante Marioni (link: www.dantemarioni.com), and panel discussions by top collectors and gallery owners. Congratulations to the entire Glass Art Society (link: www.glassart.org) staff, especially Executive Director Pamela Koss, for their hard work in making this an event that inspired, introduced, engaged and downright rocked the glass art world.
