2nd Annual Providence Golf Classic
Nothing beats a dose of healthy competition, especially when teamed up for a great cause. Monday, June 20th marked the 2nd annual Providence Golf Classic at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge which helps to benefit the 12,000 people served each day in our community receiving assistance for healthcare, hospice and supportive housing through Providence Senior and Community Services.
The four-person scramble format with a shotgun start created excitement - each team dug in and were ready for their winning rounds. Featuring on-course steak sandwiches by El Gaucho, and specialty cocktails by Grey Goose (among others), this event was decidedly hosted in true Seattle Style.
"The golf classic was a great opportunity for us to spend time with the community, said Robert Hellrigel, chief executive, Providence Senior and Community Services. We raised $77,000 that will directly benefit the 14,000 people Providence serves every day through assistance with health care, hospice and supportive housing."
Colleen Wadden, Director of External Communication, Providence Health & Services
