Herve Leger Trunk Show Inside The Rock Star Store, David Lawrence

Sweetest, smoothin’, and slitherin’ like a charmed snake into a Herve Leger frock at David Lawrence...

We arrived and slid into a cool action-packed room filled with, what we can only assume to be some of Seattle's most beautifully dressed.

Our areas most beloved cupcake bakery, Trophy Cupcakes, were a special confection that made all us party girls giddy (Trophy knows how to show us a good time!) As the sugar high subsided, we indulged in the decadence of Herve Leger, an array of luscious shades from candy brights to glistening metallics which dazzled us starry-eyed amidst all the mirrors.

Herve’s sleek silhouettes shaped up our sensuous appetites and featured our girlish curves OOO LA LA! We danced and shopped until we dropped as we followed our fearless leaders into a trunk show oblivion - tempting us with the body conscious collection, (which are adorned with the finest grommets and hardware) inspired by cutting edge French design. As we squirmed into our sculpted piece of the infamous Leger, moving mannequins from TCM Models offered us a glance of Spring 2012. Jami Davis of Jami Davis Photography, well known for her superb fashion photos, was there snapping her camera capturing fashionable moments and local celebs debuting from dressing rooms (as though appearing in a starring role on Broadway…only at David Lawrence!).

Is this shopping or entertainment?

David Lawrence at The Bravern is the quintessential contemporary store to shop in the Pacific Northwest. The magic of buying your signature pieces at this high-end specialized store is that you are instantly sporting the cutting edge trends. David and Diana Blackham are geniuses at retail, masters of handpicking the look that depicts personal style and wearable function. David Blackham is intuitive and diplomatic in how he offers his expertise. Established in 1994, David Lawrence focused on fine quality men’s wear for the first decade, adding women’s collections in 2004.

A few of the shop's stunners: Versace, DSquared2, Just Cavalli (and many more).

Pair that with the store’s modern way to shop, and their service from a team of savvy stylists, makes this store unique NW experience. Joe Stanford (David’s sidekick), defines precision in his craft, and with his zany and amusing disposition, he knows how to make you fall in love. The overall personality of the store is that of a downtown night club in an urban setting … rugged and contemporary with a warm welcome-Wow.
