How to Look Hot in the Cold
You wake in early morning and look out your window all trimmed with frostTo a day that is grey and cold and think "It looks so grim out there." Wishing you could still sleep, you open your closet and feel a little lost You have appointments and plans, you must look fresh, whatever are you going to wear?!
Do not worry, Andrea has provided us with some great winter tips on how to look hot in the cold weather! Listen below to her interview with KVI's Elisa Jaffe:
1. Choose subtle shades such as grey, mushroom, or taupe to keep it natural and smooth. Even ivory and white could work! 2. Choose cuts that shape to your body. Sculpted or fitted sweaters or v-necks that really define your collar bones and neck 3. On especially difficult weather days, choose fabrics that do not wrinkle and lie close to your body. Layer efficiently but make sure you do not look like a snowman! 4. Find an outerwear jacket that doesn't have too much poof. Shape your waist with a cinched belt. 3/4 length or knee length jackets will give you a zip to your step! 5. For hats, you can always go with the knitted look in pastels or browns. Otherwise, go for a beret type hat for a more sophisticated style 6. Don't be afraid to mix it up with a little color in your scarf and gloves! 7. Remember, less is more! If you have to bundle bundle bundle then keep the colors palate similar so there is not too much going on.
Stay warm this winter season!
