Wine Tasting for a Cause!
The Grace Heffernan Arnold Guild of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center will be hosting the 7th Annual Taste for a Cure event on Friday, May 18th starting at 6:00pm at Hotel 1000. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste luxurious wines, paired with delicious appetizers and enjoy a variety of live entertainment. All proceeds will go to the research center and be used towards the Hutch Holiday Gala, one of the world’s largest fundraising events. The 7th Annual Taste for a Cure will include a chance to win a night’s stay at the fabulous Hotel 1000 along with other amazing raffle rewards. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center’s mission is to eliminate cancer and related diseases as causes of human suffering and death. Clinical research scientists create and assess new procedures and therapy and public health scientist develop and apply new knowledge to prevent the occurrence of cancer and disease. They are dedicated to producing innovative scientific discoveries and turning them into sufficient medical practices. Through the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center’s hard work they have been given numerous awards including the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine, the Albert Lasker Medical Research Award and the Gairner Foundation International Award, among others.
