Seattle’s Premier Chefs Dinner
Don’t miss a night of luxurious northwest wines, delicious hors d’oeuvres and a gourmet five course dinner cooked by the best Northwest chefs at the Premier Chefs Dinner on Sunday, May 20th. All proceeds from this extravagant fundraiser will go to the Fred Hutchinson Research Center. The dinner will feature Eric Banh, owner of Monsoon restaurant, located on Capitol Hill, Kurt Dammeier, owner of Pike Place Market’s Beecher’s Handmade Cheese and Renee Erickson, the chef owner of Seattle’s Boat Street Café, among others. The menu will start with a Lummi Island Sockeye Salmon appetizer and end with Bainbridge Island Strawberry Napolean with Rhubarb Consomme and Milk Chocolate Marshmellows. Some of the featured wines include Barrage cellars, Domaine Serene and Forgeron Cellars, along with numerous others.
This event will also feature the guest speaker, Ruth Reichl, Writer, Editor and James Beard Award Winner. Ruth Reichl is the former editor and chief of Gourmet magazine and was called “one of the nation’s most influential figures in the food world” by the Seattle Times. Currently, Reichl is a judge on Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters” and editor of Gilt Taste culinary magazine.
