2012 Bellevue Jazz Festival: “Celebrating Community and the Creative Power of Music”

Produced by the Bellevue Downtown Association, the 5th annual 2012 Bellevue Jazz Festival is happening May 30th through June 3rd. “Celebrating community and the creative power of music” the festival is showcasing top national and regional artists, local musicians and high school all stars. From concerts at the Theatre at Meydenbauer, downtown bars and hotels this year’s performances will be. .  .well, music to your ears! Bellevue’s Jazz Festival is showcasing artists including, the Clayton Brothers Quintet, Booker T. Jones, and Hubert Laws Quintet. The Student Showcase will be full of lively performances by award-winning high school jazz programs, and throughout the weekend dance your way through more than 40 different shows performed by the top local and regional artists. Don’t miss this year’s opportunity to explore and celebrate the musical talent our region has to offer!

The Festival Ticket Packages are $78 and include preferred seating to all three of the featured artists’ performances. An individual ticket to each headline performance is $34 per show. A $17 student discount is available. Tickets for the KPLU School of Jazz “Rising Stars” performance on June 3rd at Bake’s Place are $10 per ticket.
