"The Best of 425"

Lights… Cameras… Red Carpet Action! The Eastside’s beloved magazine, 425 Magazine, hosted their 2012 “Best of 425” Cocktail Party on June 27th at the trendy night club, Blue Martini Lounge at The Bravern. I had the honor of emceeing this fun evening, and everyone seemed to enjoy a night on the town!

For the past four years, 425 Magazine has published their annual “Best of 425” publication, where readers had the opportunity to vote for their favorite businesses in over one hundred categories, and the winners were revealed within the magazine. This was the first year 425 Magazine hosted an exciting celebration for the best of the Eastside.

It was the perfect night for such a celebration. The sun was shining as guests arrived at the Blue Martini Lounge, where Seen by Team Photogenic’s Duell Fisher and Count Kody were hosting the red carpet, interviewing local celebrities… and the “who’s who” of the Eastside showed up to celebrate!

Bellevue-headquartered Expedia, Inc., was the proud presenting sponsor of this fabulous evening, and New York Cupcakes presented quite the display of gourmet cupcakes, topped with a special “Best of 425” cake. Winners, contributors and readers enjoyed mingling while enjoying live music, and I enjoyed emceeing and welcoming the guests, introducing 425 Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Lisa Patterson, as well as Expedia’s PR extraordinaire, Adam Anderson. A couple of lucky winner’s names were drawn throughout the evening to win Expedia suitcases, full of prizes from the “425!”

“Best of 425” winner received beautiful crystal awards, certificates and of course the July/August “Best of 425” issue. All in all, it was a great celebration!
