Girl Power Hour Presents LUNAFEST Short Films
On Tuesday, December 4th 2012 Girl Power Hour presents LUNAFEST Short Films by inviting you to celebrate women with the premier of LUNAFEST Seattle. As stated on their website, "Girl Power Hour expands business and social circles for women with networking events, lifestyle blogs, social media marketing, product placement opportunities, event production and other cool resources that create buzz while fostering community and relationship building between consumers, brands and business owners." Enabling communities to form throughout the world, Girl Power Hour brings forth this event to showcase films from women by women at events throughout the nation.
There are nine short films this year that are by, for, and about women; all films for this season's program will, "...compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and motivate you to make a difference in your community." The phenomenal organization is dedicated in showcasing the diversity among women through nine different stories. Join, a Girl-Power-Hour style cocktail reception at the Seattle Art Museum for a night of LUNAFEST Seattle. This exciting Girl Power Hour Event will take place on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 5:30pm at the Seattle Art Museum. The reception will take place immediately before the films and will include an array of exciting networking opportunities; henna, astrology readings, appetizers, wine, and door prizes are all included. Tickets are $35 with proceeds from LUNAFEST Seattle benefiting Reel Grrls and The National Breast Cancer Fund.
